1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of X to Stand (the "Service") operated by X to Stand ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
X to Stand is a quest journal for personal goals and habits. You may create quests, track time, earn experience and achievements, upload optional reward images, and use optional AI tools to generate fantasy-themed text based on your input.
The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian permission.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Accounts and Authentication

You may register with email and password or sign in with Google where available.

Email/password accounts must verify their email address before accessing the full journal.

You may sign out at any time. Demo Mode stores data locally only and does not create a cloud account.

You may not share accounts, impersonate others, or use the Service for unauthorized access.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (quests, notes, images, profile text). By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service — including transmitting portions to AI providers when you request AI features.
You are solely responsible for your content. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or others' private information without permission.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI outputs are suggestions based on your prompts. They may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or similar to existing works. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI results before use.
AI features are subject to daily usage limits and may be unavailable in Demo Mode, during outages, or for accounts that violate these Terms.
Do not use AI features to generate illegal content, spam, malware instructions, or content that violates others' rights.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Violate any law or third-party rights.

Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, App Check, or security measures.

Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service except as permitted by law.

Use the Service to harass, abuse, or distribute malware.
•
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
8. Intellectual Property
X to Stand's visual theme is inspired by classic fantasy MMO interfaces; we do not claim ownership of third-party game assets. The Service name, branding, software, and original materials are owned by X to Stand or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service except as allowed by these Terms or applicable open-source licenses.
9. Pricing and Payments
The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future.
If we add paid features, we will provide applicable pricing, billing terms, and refund policies before you are charged. Continued use of free features will remain subject to these Terms unless otherwise stated.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and, if desired, requesting account deletion via our privacy contact email.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or as required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive will survive.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
X to Stand is a personal productivity tool, not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). AI-generated text is not guaranteed to be accurate or appropriate.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless X to Stand and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes should first be reported to us at the contact email below. Where permitted, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for legal proceedings will be in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms with a new effective date. Material changes may be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
